I received a free copy with the early black friday sale before it was changed to a free copy of painter lite instead. I played with it for a few hours and watched a few tutorials. I have used flash some but its been a long time. I found it not super hard to get to understand. It looks like a good program. I have 3 problems with it. Im not into video a lot and not sure what I would use it for.

Im in graphic design and motion is becoming very big. I just dont own the base motion program of video studio. The other problem is it is 3 years old and has no updates to it. It is as though they released it and forgot about it. I wonder if they will make a new edition or just include it as part of the next video studio edition which would make sense.

Also I could not find a way to create completely custom 3d object besides text. This is some what disappointing. It means the program is very limited as a stand alone software and meant to be integrated with video studio or a 3d rendering program.

I was disappointed it didnt look like you could create new 3d objects. You can highly alter the existing ones but that will have limits. Coming from a flash point of view where you can draw in it and animate it. MotionStudio 3d you could not really draw new things. If you could it would probably be more relevant. You can always try to find answers in google. I look things up there all the time. Even in programs ive used for years when I forget how to do some thing ive only done a few times.
